2. Scope of Non-Medical Services
A&G Personal Home Care Services is a non-medical home care agency licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).
Medication Management: Caregivers provide reminders only. Under no circumstances shall an A&G employee administer medication, injections, or perform medical wound care.
Documentation: Caregivers will document the frequency of reminders provided to ensure service transparency.

4. Limitation of Liability and Negligence
The Agency maintains professional liability insurance in accordance with Illinois state law. A&G Personal Home Care Services, its owners, and employees shall be held liable for incidents (including client falls) only in the event of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct by the assigned caregiver while on duty. The Agency is not responsible for accidents resulting from the client’s underlying physical frailty, pre-existing medical conditions, or environmental hazards within the home that are beyond the caregiver’s immediate control.
5. Emergency Response Protocol
In the event that a caregiver discovers a client in an unresponsive state or experiencing a medical emergency, the caregiver is trained to contact 911 emergency services immediately. The client, their family, or their legal estate shall be solely responsible for any and all costs incurred from such emergency calls, including ambulance fees and hospital charges.
6. Employment and Safety Standards
W-2 Status: All caregivers are W-2 employees. No services are performed by independent contractors (1099).
Background Checks: Every employee must pass a background check with the Illinois State Police and the IDPH Health Care Worker Registry prior to placement.
Right to Refuse: A&G reserves the right to terminate service or refuse entry into a home if the environment is deemed hostile, unhygienic, or unsafe for the caregiver.
7. Payment, Respite, and Cancellation
Payments: Payments are processed via Square.
Respite Care: Both one-time and recurring respite care contracts are available.
Cancellations: Specific notice periods for cancellation are governed by the individual Client Service Contract signed at the time of intake.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, and branding on this website are the exclusive property of A&G Personal Home Care Services and may not be reproduced without express written consent.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
